What brings you HAPPINESS?
I spent some time today reflecting on 2016, the good and the bad. Many of you know the lower points of my year (Brain Surgery), where I am still thankful for the lessons I’ve learned from that experience. But part of the exercise was to reflect on what brought me happiness over the past year, so I can make sure to incorporate more things like those into 2017.
I challenged my team to create Happiness Boards to provide a visualization of that happiness.

These pictures represent:
+ Friendships built
+ Reaching goals after surgery
+ Building myself stronger in business and in life
+ Travel to Nashville, Seattle, Portland, Colorado, Hawaii, and most of the midwest
+ Larger gatherings with my family to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries
+ Moving my body, and testing my strength
+ Reconnecting with family I haven’t seen in over a decade
+ Watching an amazing game of vintage baseball with my family on a road trip across the midwest (yes, at the filming location of Field of Dreams)
+ Meeting with friends all across the country to learn how we can help others better
+ Running health & fitness accountability groups, helping people along their journeys
+ Spending time with my amazing team
+ Quality alone time with my husband (in Hawaii, and on walks and hikes in town)
+ Being active with my husband and kiddos
+ Camping and relaxing (away from cell phones and electronics)
+ Reuniting with old/good friends, catching up, and meeting their families
These are all things I will be incorporating more into my life for 2017.
